Still very quiet this week with only a few good potential betting races on the flat.

The 17:25 at Newbury gives us an opportunity for some value as there is a short price favourite who is worth taking on, Cindy Lou Who was a close second in a listed race at Bath last time out and gets into this off her old rating, 15lbs lower than for future races. Now on paper that gives her an outstanding chance and the market is framed thus, but all her best performances on turf have come on sharp tracks, Bath, Brighton and Windsor and so I think at 17/2 with Paddy Power Change Sings is worth a bet. He was a good 3rd on reappearance which should set him up nicely and he is 2lbs lower than when a close second in this last year
